Funeral services are scheduled for 3 p.m. Monday, April 5, 2004, at Little-Davenport Funeral Home Chapel for Nancy Lower Crofoot, 83, of Murrayville.

Dr. William L. Arthur will officiate.

The family will receive friends following the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Crofoot died Wednesday, March 31, 2004, at Dogwood Forest, Gainesville, following an extended illness.

Mrs. Crofoot had lived in Murrayville since 1989 and was a native of Glenview, Ill. she was the daughter of the late Paul E. and Natalie Webster Lower. Mrs. Crofoot was a homemaker and of the Presbyterian faith. Her husband, Gordon Crofoot, preceded her in death.

Survivors include her son, Dr. Gordon Crofoot, Houston, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Sally and Bruce Babcock, Murrayville, and Susan and Jim Fuquay, Arlington, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Paul and Dodie Lower, Benton Harbor, Mich.; grandchildren, Dr. Chris Babcock-Gessler and husband, Dr. Damian Gessler, Dr. Rebecca Babcock, Jay Fuquay, and Anne Christine Fuquay; and great-grandchild, Levi Gessler.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to American Cancer Society, 2565 Thompson Bridge Road, Suite 114, Gainesville, GA 30501 or to Hospice of Northeast Georgia Medical Center, 2150 Limestone Parkway, Gainesville, GA 30504.
