Microchip placed into Duck-Dog
A few years back in 1998 geneticists spliced the genes
of a duck and a dog. The ending reult was a dog with a duck beak and wings. For a long time it was repulsed by
all. 3 years ago, however, it was adopted by a man who goes by Kaden. Since then, life has gone well for the both
of them. The duck-dog was first given a name. She now goes by the name Ebony Collins, named after the owners sister.
Recently, she was brought back in for a new experiment on the world's first duck-dog. They have inserted a microchip
into her head. The result was phenomenal. This new animal can now communicate through word of mouth, meaning she
can talk. However, she only speaks English and cannot speak any other languages. Now she can communicate with
other duck-dogs at will. Scientists and geneticists have yet to create another duck-dog, but since this microchip was
placed, the expecations for duck-dogs are high. More than likely, more will be created so that a new animal race can
be created. Is this a tragedy for the animal kingdom or is it a wonderful discovery for science and for the world?
It could be one or the other; perhaps it is both. Who knows.
